Flamed maple and walnut lamp table

An early 19th century style lamp table, made of flamed maple with walnut drawer fronts and inlay.  Top is inlaid with a continental German design. Common in 19th century homes, such tables were known as bed side, lamp, work or sewing tables. They are equally useful and versatile today.
