Schade coat of arms

This coat of arms, carved in basswood, was commissioned by a member of the Schade family studying at the University of Waterloo in 1997.

He showed me a line drawing in a German book about his family, and asked me to transform it into three dimensional art.

It was a very interesting job, and the customer was pleased with the result.
