Cherry drop-leaf table

Cherry drop-leaf table, inlaid with walnut and maple.  Hand carved reeded legs. Hand dovetailed drawers.

This table was commissioned for a client in England, but was stolen from a customs brokerage overseas. It never reached its destined owner, whose family crest had been inlaid in the top.

The shaded fan inlaid design was created using the traditional hot sand method.
